Diller Teen Fellows is about global connection. Diller has given me a way to connect with other people who may have different opinions from me and different ways of practicing Judaism. Initially, it was quite scary thinking about all these people with all these different ideas, but really it’s been quite refreshing. I’ve taken on ideas, and I’ve had conversations with people that I thought weren’t really possible. And meeting all these people has really taught me that despite our differences, we are of the same tribe, and that’s just beautiful for me. There really is nothing as special as Diller. It’s a way to meet new people from all around the world, and it’s really connected me to my Jewish identity.
