I’m Ilana. I am 15 years old, and I’m from the Chicago cohort. Last Shabbaton, we had an activity where all the girls went into a room and shared our stories about what it’s like to be a woman, a Jewish woman, and how we’ve been like treated. And it was empowering to hear everyone’s stories and that space made me like open to like share my stories, and everyone was so like open to listen and it was a really meaningful experience.
