Associate Director of Education Systems
As Associate Director of Education Systems, Sarah serves as a resource to Coordinators, Partner Communities, and the Global Diller team from the perspective of educational needs. She ensures that systems are in place for effective communication, oversees the adoption and development of new technology platforms, and manages allocation processes across all communities. Previously at Diller, Sarah worked as a Community Engagement Manager and Manager of Digital Systems.
Before joining the Global Diller team, Sarah worked in the field of teen mental health with at-risk youth at CHEO’s YouthNet in Ottawa. She held a number of positions within the Montreal Jewish community, including her work as the Montreal Diller Teen Fellows Coordinator.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bishop’s University and also studied School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University.

As the Administrative Coordinator based in San Francisco, Vince supports all operations for Diller in North America and for Community Partners across the globe.
Vince’s professional background has been in administrative and operational support for nonprofit organizations. He worked for The Walt Disney Family Museum in Public Programming and as part of the Education team and Academy of Arts University in administrative roles.
He holds a B.A. in United States History from the University of Hawaii West Oahu.

As Director of Alumni Engagement, Rachael works to create a vibrant global Jewish community, where Diller alumni are engaged in a lifelong journey of Jewish identity exploration and serve as active and empowered leaders of tikkun olam. Previously, Rachael spent 11 years with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), most recently serving as Director of North American Operations & Growth, Israel Teen Programs. Prior to the URJ, Rachael was the U.S. Manager of Recruitment and Community Outreach at the Nesiya Institute, a 6-week Jewish teen summer program in Israel. Rachael holds a B.A. in political science from Tufts University in Massachusetts.

As the Israel Director of Education, Itai oversees curricula and education for the Fellowship program in Israel.
Before joining Diller, Itai worked for over 15 years in the field of experiential education. He was a tour guide with organizations such as Young Judea, NFTY, FZY, and Alexander Muss High School in Israel. Previously, Itai worked as a coordinator for Noar Telem, the reform youth movement in Israel, and as a madrich (guide) for a pre-IDF academy in Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael.
Over the past decade, Itai has been deeply involved in leading inclusion and accessibility in the world of pre-IDF academies in Israel. He serves as a board member for Hannaton Educational Center and is the head of the special needs and inclusion committee for Kibbutz Hannaton.

Chief of Staff, Helen Diller Family Foundation Programs
As Chief of Staff, Hallie works closely with the Diller Teen Fellows and Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards teams to help drive the continued growth of the Foundation programs and to support culture and impact.
Previously, Hallie spent more than 22 years at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago (JUF), working to engage community members in meaningful Jewish experiences while strengthening the institutions that provide those opportunities. As VP of Community Outreach and Engagement at JUF, she oversaw programs serving expectant parents through high school graduation and beyond. Hallie was the Diller Supervisor for the first ten years of Chicago’s cohort and is the parent of two DTF alumni.
Hallie is a graduate of Brandeis University and was a member of the first M2 Senior Educators Cohort. She is on the board of M2: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education, and on the advisory board of Honeycomb: Jewish Youth Philanthropy Reimagined.

As manager of the Israel Alumni Network, Tali connects Diller alumni with opportunities to engage in social activism and explore their Jewish identity beyond their Fellowship year.
Tali is a former video editor and producer of investigative television programs, documentaries, and prime-time reality shows on Israeli national channels. She is a former head of the Youth Science Unit at Oranim Academic College and manager of projects in education, young people’s affairs, and employment at the Institute for Applied Policy. Tali is a member of the Board of Directors of the NGO Economic Empowerment for Women. She volunteers as a family advisor and consultant in research, policy, and strategy for the Paamonim organization.
Tali holds an M.A. from the University of Haifa. She is an alumna of the Mandel Center for Leadership in the North and a co-founder of its alumni community.

As Director of Global Events and Seminars, Yael, along with her team, provides operational solutions, assistance, and planning of events and seminars worldwide. Yael has worked within the Jewish Educational world for over 20 years and has experience with global Jewish organizations on both sides of the ocean. Her extensive professional background includes organizations like Young Judaea, Atid Partnership, and Masa, where she held roles in long and short-term programs. Her professional passion is working with youth programming that builds and strengthens Israel Diaspora relations through education and cultivating strong partnerships.
Yael holds a B.A. from Bar Ilan University in Israel Studies and Geography, a teacher’s license, and an M.A. from Haifa University with the Ruderman Program for American Jury. She is also a licensed running and fitness coach.

Reisha leads the development and implementation of all strategies for public-facing communications, marketing, and brand identity for Diller Teen Fellows and Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards.
Reisha brings a broad range of marketing and communication experiences, which span across the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She comes to Diller from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), where she served as the Senior Director of Digital Engagement, leading ADL’s national digital communications, fighting rising antisemitism, hate, bigotry, and racism globally. Prior to ADL, Reisha held leadership positions in marketing at Wolters Kluwer and UJA-Federation of New York. Before UJA, Reisha worked at Microsoft as part of the division that launched Bing, and spent time working at Google while in graduate school for her MBA.
Reisha holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.

Danielle oversees the educational programming and community impact projects for the Tzama Cohort of Diller Teen Fellows in Israel.Prior to joining the Diller International team, Danielle served as the Coordinator for the Diller Golan Cohort for three years. Before coming on board with Diller, Danielle worked with students and teenagers in the area of social justice since 2019. As an undergraduate, she established a social impact project called From Analogy to Technology, which connected older and younger generations.
Danielle holds a B.A. in Education and Sociology Anthropology from Tel-Hai College, and an M.A. in Jewish Peoplehood Studies from Haifa University.

Aaron oversees all North American-based seminars and meetings for Diller Teen Fellows International, and develops new initiatives that connect Fellows globally.
Aaron joined the Diller Teen Fellows team in 2017 and ran the Los Angeles Cohort for three years as their Coordinator. He then joined the Diller International team, working with alumni from across the globe on the Junior Counselor program before taking over North America seminars and global initiatives.
Aaron studied Film Production and Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona. He is also a graduate of the M2 Senior Educators Cohort in experiential education.

Israel Seminars Manager
Ofir began his career in Jewish education working as a Program Coordinator for the Israel Experience. Since 2019, Ofir has worked as a licensed tour guide in the field of educational tourism for youth programs, students, birthright cohorts, and masa groups, as well as touring a few Diller groups. Ofir was also a teacher and coordinator at a high school. Ofir holds a B.A. in Political Science, Sociology, and Anthropology from the Hebrew University.

Israel Seminars Manager
Roni works with the operations team to manage Diller seminars in Israel, including Israel Summer Seminar, when Fellows from 16 international communities join their Israeli partner communities in Israel.
Roni previously worked for the Marom NGO for Conservative Judaism, where she managed its network of young adult centers. She also worked closely with the Masorti Foundation’s Jewish communities in Europe and Latin America to encourage young Jewish people to join.
Roni has extensive experience in informal education, specifically working with Jewish communities outside of Israel. In 2011, she embarked as a shlicha to St. Paul, Minnesota, where she worked with various organizations there, including Jewish schools, Hillel, JCC, synagogues, and federations.
Roni has a degree in political science and human resources and is a certified LICBT therapist.

As a Community Engagement Manager, Dor provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and their communities, ensuring the successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Prior to joining the Diller International Team, Dor served as the Coordinator for the Diller Upper Galilee Cohort for three years. Dor is an experienced educator who has worked closely with several organizations, including Camp Ramah in Nyack, New York for five summers. At Ramah Nyack, he led the mishlachat, supervising and mentoring 60 Israeli counselors annually. Dor previously worked as a Youth Section Manager in Metula, a Youth Coordinator in the city Kiryat Shmona, and a Counselor at Alexander Muss High School.
Dor holds a B.A. in Special Education and Social Education from Tel-Hai College and an M.A. in American Jewish Studies from the University of Haifa.

Rebecca provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and Junior Counselors, ensuring successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Rebecca has volunteered and worked in the Jewish community, both locally and abroad, since she was a teenager. Prior to Diller, she worked at the Union of Jewish Students as a Sabbatical Officer. In this role, she supported Jewish students on university campuses in the UK in combating antisemitism, facilitating Jewish life and culture, and facilitating Holocaust Educational Events. In 2019, she began her Diller journey as the Diller UK Coordinator, a role that inspired her to continue to work within the Diller family.
Rebecca studied English Literature and Theatre at the University of Leeds and is now working on her M.A. in Israel Education at George Washington University in collaboration with the iCenter.

Noa manages the day-to-day operations of Diller Teen Fellows globally, overseeing finances, systems, logistics, safety, and security.
Noa has been working in the field of Jewish Education since 2007, when she started as a tour guide. For more than a decade, she created meaningful Israel travel experiences for teens and adults from across the world. Noa held educational and logistics positions at organizations, including The Youth Leadership Training Institute of the Jewish Agency (Machon LeMadrichim), and Israel Experience (IE). In her Israeli army service, she served as a tour guide with the Society for the Protection of Nature.
Noa holds an MBA from The College of Management and a B.A. in Informal Education and Israel Studies from Beit Berl College.

As the advisor to Israeli Junior Counselors and Coordinators, Tal provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and Junior Counselors, ensuring successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Before holding this position, Tal was a coordinator for the Diller Teen Fellows Herzliya community. She has worked as an educator across several different youth programs and organizations, building connections among teens and directing delegations.

Hadas oversees the programmatic work of Diller Teen Fellows globally, managing the Education, Community Engagement, and Alumni teams.
Hadas has been a part of the Diller team since 2011, serving in a wide range of roles including: Program Assistant, Israel Program Director, and Fellowship Program Director.
Prior to joining Diller, she was a training consultant at Shatil, an organization for social change in Israel.
Hadas holds a B.A. in Media and Management from The Management College, Tel Aviv, and an M.A. in Sociology and Anthropology-Organizational studies from Tel Aviv University. She is a certified group workshop facilitator for Jewish renewal by Oranim College, and a certified group workshop facilitator by Tafnit-Open University.

As a Community Engagement Manager, Mor provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and their communities, ensuring the successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Mor worked in educational programming with organizations before joining Diller, including Jusidman Science Center for Youth, a Mental Health Center, and the Ministry of Health. For four years, she also served as the Coordinator for the Diller Ashkelon Cohort.
Mor holds a B.A. in Education and Management from Ben Gurion University, an M.A. in Learning Disabilities, and a certificate in Didactic Diagnostics from Bar Ilan University.

Shiran started her professional career as a Jewish Day School educator with a focus on pluralistic schools. She first joined the Diller Teen Fellow family as the Chicago Coordinator for three years. She then served as Assistant Director of Young Families at the Jewish United Fund of Greater Metropolitan Chicago, running a program for new and expectant parents, before returning to Diller in her current role.
Shiran has a B.S. from The Ohio State University and an M.A. in Teaching from Brandeis University.

As a Community Engagement Manager, Caroline provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and their communities, ensuring the successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Caroline started her professional career working for Hillel Montreal. She then joined the GenMTL department at Federation CJA, working with Birthright Israel, running a leadership program for Birthright Madrichim in Training (MIT), and working with MASA Israel Journey. She then became the Regional Director for BBYO Lake Ontario Region (LOR) before moving to the Diller Teen Fellows Program as the Toronto Coordinator.
Caroline holds a Bachelors of Social Work (B.S.W.) from McGill University and studied Jewish Professional Studies at Spertus Institute. Caroline is also the secretary on BBYO LOR’s Board of Directors.

As a Community Engagement Manager, Adar provides ongoing support and mentorship to Diller Teen Fellows Coordinators and their communities, ensuring successful implementation of the program locally and as part of the global Diller network.
Before joining the International Staff, Adar served as Diller Coordinator of the Kiryat Gat-Lachish-Shafir Cohort, leading youth groups in several kibbutzim across Israel. Adar also worked in educational tourism, guiding identity journeys for Israeli youth and tours for non-Israeli Jews in Israel.

As the Administrative Coordinator for North America and International communities, Becca provides administrative support to the Education team. Prior to joining Diller, Becca has many roles at both secular and Jewish organizations, including being an educator, fundraiser, administrator, and program planner. She currently sits on the boards of The Columbus Jewish Historical Society, Young JewishColumbus, and her synagogue, Congregation Torat Emet. Becca has always had a deep connection to the Jewish community and is passionate about helping others find meaning and connection.
After spending a gap year in Israel, Becca graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Jewish Studies and minors in Nonprofit Studies and Jewish Oral History. She is now pursuing an M.A. in Jewish Professional Studies at Gratz College.

Executive Director, Helen Diller Family Foundation Programs
Jen leads the Helen Diller Family Foundation programs, including Diller Teen Fellows and the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards, with a focus on strategic innovation.
Jen has worked in the nonprofit sector and within the Jewish community for over two decades, primarily in the areas of youth leadership, social justice, interfaith relations, and civil rights. Previously, Jen served in senior leadership roles at the Anti‐Defamation League (ADL), where she developed and led a range of community‐based programs and campaigns, including: No Place for Hate, Camp Interfaith (Camp IF), and the Imagine a World Without Hate campaign. With a strong commitment to fostering leadership through Jewish values, Jen worked for many years as a Jewish educator and served on the staff and board of Camp Yavneh.
Jen holds a B.A. from Brandeis University with concentrations in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies, Sociology, and History.

As the Director of Education for North America and International communities, Amanda works in partnership with her Israeli counterpart overseeing program content and training for Coordinators. Additionally, Amanda provides direct support to the global Community Engagement Managers. Amanda comes to this position after serving for two years as the Associate Director of Education.
Amanda initially served as a Diller Coordinator in Greater Metrowest, NJ for three years, while also working with local universities on the topics of Israel education and advocacy. Prior to joining Diller as a Coordinator, Amanda served as Program Director for Santa Barbara Hillel, where she managed an extensive student leadership board and worked to solidify partnerships across the university and the greater Santa Barbara community. Amanda also served as the Director of Education for the Nevada office of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), where she trained school educators to address issues of antisemitism and bias with their students to support a safe and supportive school environment.
Amanda holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dvir manages the media activity of Diller Teen Fellows in Israel. He is a Diller alum from the Haifa Cohort of 2016, and was a Tzama member in 2018.
Dvir completed a year of service in Gan Yavneh through a youth movement. Following that, he served in the military as a commander in courses of the Psychological Unit and trained the soldiers responsible for determining the data of all those enlisting in the army.
Dvir is currently studying for his B.A. in Fashion Design at Shankar College. He is passionate about everything involving design and production.

Ravit Shimshon Turgeman
Program Manager, Tzama
Ravit oversees the educational programming and community impact projects for the Tzama Cohort of Diller Teen Fellows in Israel.
Before joining the professional team, Ravit was a Tzama Fellow herself. She also worked as the youth coordinator for the Jewish Agency’s Be’er Sheva, B’nei Shimon Partnership.
Ravit holds a B.A. in Education, Philosophy, History, and Political Science. She is currently studying for her M.A. in Public Policy at Sapir College.

Manager, Israel Events & Seminars
Hila oversees the content, planning, and production of events and seminars in Israel, working closely with vendors and staff members to create and execute educational and meaningful events.
Hila is also a tour guide who leads Reform Jewish groups to Poland and Israel. Before joining Diller, she worked in program management for Young Judaea, Masa, and NFTY. She was also an emissary to Camp Ramah in the United States.
Hila holds a B.A. in Historical and Bible Education from Kibbutzim College.

Barak Stockler, Coordinator
Since 2019, Barak Stockler has worked as a Jewish educator focused on teen empowerment, Israeli education, and tikkun olam. He served as the Director of Youth Engagement at Congregation Kol Ami for three years, where he led the Youth Group, developed a new curriculum for 11th and 12th graders, and ran several trips, including a Tikkun Olam Surfing trip to Puerto Rico.
Barak holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from SUNY Geneseo.

Rashida is a 2011 alumna of Diller Teen Fellows and also served as a Junior Counselor and a student intern for Tzama, a follow-up program designed for Israeli Diller alumni who are in their final year of high school.
Rashida is currently studying Political Science, Communication, and Gender Studies at Ben Gurion University.

Leah Finkelman, Coordinator
Zach has been excited about working in education since his first role at a Jewish summer camp, URJ 6 Points, in 2013. Since then, he has worked in informal, experiential education with Jewish youth and teens, serving as Program Director of URJ 6 Points Sports and as the Youth Director of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Zach holds a B.A. in History from North Carolina State and an M.A. in Experiential Education and Jewish Leadership from Brandeis University.

Mijal is a psychologist who has worked in formal and informal education since 2011, empowering and supporting children and teens through recreation and experiential activities.

Eytan Labe, Coordinator
Eytan has worked within the informal education space since 2018. He is a passionate alum of the Diller Teen Fellows program who continues seeking opportunities to make an impact in his community. Eytan became the head of Bnei Akiva, where he contributed to the Jewish School syllabus. He was also a Youth Director of Shuls and led shabbatonim. Eytan is currently completing his degree in Business Science, Finance and Accounting at University of Cape Town.

Tali Zuckerman, Coordinator
Joe has been working in teen education and empowerment in the Chicago area since 2014. After college, Joe worked for Jewish organizations like NFTY, Jewish Student Connection, and multiple local synagogues. After working with an education nonprofit on Chicago’s south side and spending time working at local restaurants, Joe was excited to join the Diller family with the JUF in Chicago.
Joe holds a B.S. in Math Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Itay Zaid, Coordinator
Noa is an alumna of the Diller Teen Fellows program in Haifa, where she was a Fellow and later a Junior Counselor.
During her Diller fellowship year, Noa started her Jewish identity journey. She was inspired to do a gap year for the Jewish Federation of Greater Toronto and later served in the Israeli Army. For the past eight years, Noa has continued to be involved in Jewish informal education with Diller, Camp Ramah, and Hanoar Haoved ve Halomed.

Danielle has been working with students and teenagers in the area of social justice since 2019. As an undergraduate, she established a social impact project called From Analogy to Technology, which connected older and younger generations.
Danielle holds a B.A. in Education and Sociology Anthropology from Tel-Hai College and an M.A. in Jewish Peoplehood Studies from Haifa University.

Before joining Diller as a Coordinator, Max served as the Springboard Fellow at Hillel at Ithaca College, where he was responsible for Jewish Holiday and Shabbat programming, leadership development, Jewish learning, and student engagement. Max is not new to the Diller family. He was also a Diller Teen Fellow and Junior Counselor. Apart from his full-time job, Max also works as a freelance Jewish composer and musician.
Max holds a B.A. in Music Composition and Jewish Studies from Muhlenberg College and an M.A. in Jewish Nonprofit Management from Hebrew Union College.

Marom Shmueli, Coordinator
Before joining Diller, Marom served as the emissary of the Jewish Agency for Israel in Youngstown, Ohio, where he focused on forging meaningful connections to Israel among the Jewish community and beyond.
Marom enjoys bringing the power of personal connections to his Fellows, especially facilitating connections between fellows in Haifa and its partner community, Boston.
Every Monday, Marom produces a concise one-minute video centered around various aspects of Israel. He is currently studying to earn a degree in aerospace engineering.

Shoham Azulay, Coordinator
Shir’s story with Diller began in 2011 when she was a Fellow. After her IDF military service in the Air Force, she returned to Diller as a student intern in the Golan-Melbourne partnership. There, she continued to further her professional experience as an educator, working as the coordinator of a scout troop for religious and secular teens.
Shir also worked in the Ministry of Economy on a project to reduce social gaps by promoting employment among diverse populations. While earning her degree, she managed the Hebrew University branch of the ProWoman program and returned to Diller again as a student intern of Beit Shemesh-Mate Yehuda.
Shir holds a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology-Sociology from Hebrew University.

Noa Bezalel, Coordinator
Dvir served as an officer in the intelligence bridge in the Israeli army (IDF). In 2019, he was a Shalich (emissary) in the Jewish community of Sydney, Australia. While in Sydney, he led the Hineni youth movement as well as other community programs.
In 2021, Dvir worked under the Ministry of Education as an advisor to the minister. He is now a proud leader of the Diller in the city of Herzliya.
Dvir is currently studying for his law degree at Tel Aviv University.

Sigal Sandaka, Coordinator
For almost a decade, Nir has worked with teenagers in the Negev and has accompanied volunteers in various educational settings.
Most recently, Nir coordinated and led efforts teaching Hebrew at schools in Bedouin society. He currently lives in Tel Aviv and is studying for a B.A. in Education and History at Beit Berl College.

Rebecca Matisonn, Coordinator
Rebecca has a great deal of experience with informal Jewish education. She worked with B’nei Akiva South Africa, heading up the Johannesburg division and working directly with teens ages 13-17. As a community coordinator with Diller, Rebecca has managed programs on Jewish identity, mental health, Israel education, volunteering, and community, and has overseen the programming for weekend retreats (shabbatonim) and summer camps.
Rebecca holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Psychology and English from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and is now studying organizational psychology in a post-graduate program.

Shaked Gal, Coordinator
Shaked has worked and volunteered in Jewish youth education in several ways: leading youth groups at the EKC summer camp, leading different Partnership2Gether programs, and coaching youth basketball teams. Now, as a Diller Teen Fellows Coordinator, she continues her Diller journey that began a decade ago! Shaked holds a B.A. in Business Management.

Omri Osteryung, Coordinator
Since 2018, Omri has worked within the Jewish community in the nonprofit sector, primarily in delegations of the Jewish Agency to the USA and Australia. He was a counselor at Eisner Camp in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where he was also a table tennis coach! Omri previously worked for the Israel Experience, where he led workshops, managed discussions about Jewish and Israeli identities, and managed operations. He is committed to working within the Jewish community and finds a lot of meaning in the connection between Jews all over the world.
Omri attended Ben Gurion University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Political Science, and a teaching certificate in Israeli Civil Studies.

Arya Donay, Coordinator
Arya grew up as an active member of USY and Camp Ramah in California, as well as an Eagle Scout. Upon graduating college, he made aliyah and moved to Tel Aviv, Israel. After finishing his IDF army service in the 932nd Infantry Battalion of the Nachal Brigade, Arya worked across several industries, including education, tourism, tech, and hospitality, and was the Director of Admissions for long-term programs in the International Department at BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change.
After eight years living in Tel Aviv, Arya moved back to Los Angeles where he has been working at the Westside JCC, 30 Years After, and Diller Teen Fellows.
Arya holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Sharni Briner, Coordinator
Sharni has extensive professional experience as an informal educator and event coordinator. She has volunteered within the Jewish community since she was a teenager herself, including with youth movements and cross-communal organizations. Sharni previously worked for VetPrac, planning professional development conferences and as an event coordinator for students at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
Sharni holds a B.A. in Entertainment Industries from QUT and is currently completing postgraduate studies in Education at QUT.

Ashley Schulman, Coordinator
Ashley recently graduated from McGill University, where she studied History and Political Science. She has previously worked as an Intern for Ashinaga Uganda where she taught World History, English, and SAT Prep. Ashley also served as the Supervisor of Specialists at Sunrise Day Camp, a free-of-charge day camp for children with cancer and their siblings.

Naomi Spiegelman, Coordinator
Naomi has several years of experience in the education sector for Jewish nonprofits, developing and supervising educational programming and seminars. She has supported the education and growth of both adolescents and adult staff.
Naomi has also worked for the federal government of Canada as a Junior Policy Analyst, assisting the Assistant Deputy Minister’s office in furthering the diversity and inclusion department. Passionate about equitable education, she has worked as a tutor for an equitable education startup in Montreal and volunteers for Kids Help Phone as a Crisis Responder.
Naomi holds a joint specialization of Anthropology and Sociology and Co-Op certificate from Concordia University in Montreal.

Darren Rabinowitz, Coordinator
Darren has worked within the Jewish education space since 2011 with organizations such as American University’s Hillel, the JDC, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and now the Kaiserman JCC. He was also a Diller Teen Fellow himself. Darren is strongly committed to guiding Jewish teens to see their agency and ability to impact the communities and causes they care about through critical pedagogies and informal education.
Darren holds a B.A. in International Relations from American University, an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University in International Educational Development, and is currently pursuing a PhD in International and Comparative Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
RebeccaKahn
Rebecca Kahn, Coordinator
Rebecca began her professional career as the Associate Regional Director of Jewish Enrichment for Ohio Northern Region BBYO. There, she supported teens in planning events and programs activating tikkun olam and Jewish engagement. While at Carnegie Mellon University, she worked as a Communication Support Consultant, aiding students across the university with their written and oral presentation skills. During the summer of 2022, Rebecca organized and facilitated Counselor-in-Training and Avodah (Work) programs at URJ 6 Points West in Southern California, teaching leadership and counseling skills to incoming 11th and 12th graders.
Rebecca holds a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Brandeis University and an M.A. in Literary and Cultural Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focused on issues of gender and sexuality in religious and alternative performance spaces.

May ben Shabbat, Coordinator
Denny has worked with Diller Teen Fellows as the Rishon Lezion Coordinator for five years. She first became involved with informal education for youth on the kibbutz where she grew up. Since then, Denny worked as a coordinator for a Gap Year program that invites Jewish youth to Israel between high school and college. She also worked as an event producer and community manager for a group of restaurants in Tel Aviv.
Denny studied event design and production at Concept School of Design in Tel Aviv. She also studied to be a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which examines human thought processes, language, and behavior.

Kyla Sokoll-Ward, Coordinator
Maya is a Bay Area educator and community builder who is passionate about empowering youth. Throughout her career, she has worked in the nonprofit and education sectors. She holds a B.A. in International Relations, with a minor in Sociology from Mount Holyoke College, and an M.A. in Teaching Secondary Education from New York University. She has a teaching credential in Social Sciences.

Noam Mashish, Coordinator
Since 2005, Tzlil has been attending the Szarvas Jewish summer camp in Hungary, first as a camper, then as a counselor and leader of the Israeli and international groups. Since 2021, she has been the Diller Shoham Coordinator, working in partnership with the Cape Town Cohort.
Tzlil is currently completing a B.A. in Management and Education at the Open University.

Itay Yekutiel, Coordinator
Itay has been involved with Diller Teen Fellows for many years, first as a Fellow in the Tel Aviv cohort, and then in Tzama, the program’s national task force in Israel.
Itay spent a year abroad in the United States on behalf of the Jewish Agency in Atlanta, Georgia.
He served in the Israeli army as a combat commander in the 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade. Over the last year, Itay worked as a coordinator for a gap year program run by BINA, the Jewish Movement of Social Change.

Emily Curtis, Coordinator
Emily has extensive experience in informal Jewish education. She lived in San Diego for 14 years, where she was involved in Jewish life, and worked as a youth director at United Synagogue Youth for three years. Emily also participated in a Gap Year programme in Israel, and later served as its Programme Coordinator. These experiences helped develop her passion for teen leadership and informal education.
Emily is also committed to tikkun olam through volunteer work and fundraising. She led fundraising efforts as the Donor and Alumni Relations Captain for a student-run philanthropy.
Emily holds a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in Human Development & Family Studies and Rehabilitation & Human Services.

Yarden Shuv, Coordinator
Dor is an experienced educator who has worked closely with organizations, including Camp Ramah in Nyack, New York, for five summers. At Ramah Nyack, he led the mishlachat, supervising and mentoring 60 Israeli counselors annually. Dor previously worked as a Youth Section Manager in Metula, Youth Coordinator in the city of Kiryat Shmona, and Counselor at Alexander Muss High School before joining Diller Teen Fellows.
Dor holds a B.A. in Special Education and Social Education from Tel-Hai College and an M.A. in American Jewish Studies from the University of Haifa.

Reut Raviv, Coordinator
Reut has volunteered in various youth movements and organizations over the past six years. She completed a gap year in Jerusalem before serving in the army, and for the past two years, worked at Intel in Kiryat Gat. She was previously a Junior Counselor advisor at Diller and advanced to become a coordinator. She is currently studying to become a social worker.
